Testimonial

As the organizer of a personal and professional development series for McMaster University alumni, I find and work with half a dozen speakers a year to create sessions that will be empowering and educational. I was extremely delighted when Carla LaBella offered to provide a presentation on Positive Psychology. This presentation was highly anticipated as it sold out very quickly and was hugely successful, as measured by the feedback of those in attendance.

Carla carefully crafted a session that introduced the science behind positive psychology in an entertaining lecture format while weaving in interactive exercises that enabled the participants to put their new found knowledge to work. Participants not only learned about the importance of positive psychology but learned strategies to increase this sense of personal well-being to improve both physical and mental health and wellness. Carla was an articulate presenter who was extremely well versed in the subject matter and was a thoughtful facilitator during the interactive portions of the presentation. Carla was able to create a session that was educational but also lively, which leaves the audience feeling confident and empowered with their new found knowledge and skills.

Needless to say, after having had the pleasure of working with Carla LaBella I would highly recommend her sessions on the topic of Positive Psychology to others and I look forward to finding other opportunities to work with her in the future. Individuals and organizations who are interested in cultivating positive psychology will benefit greatly from Carla’s expertise and find value in her presentations.
